10400 part T Fire attributes
Non-combustible (flash point of 100F or higher) / Non-flammable (lower flash point 100F or below), doesn’t add to spread of flame. Natural corrosion resistance, aluminium sheeting does to require protective coatings which may contribute to fire hazard. (Flammable material catches fire easier than a combustible on because of the minimal amount of energy (heat) required to get it going versus the higher requirement of a combustible material.)
Class 1 tested to BS 476; Part 7: 1971 low melting point (640c) of aluminium, self-venting occurs, thereby direct heat to the atmosphere instead of spreading the fire throughout building.
